We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to Tunerfest Oulton Park 2025 — the incredible UK Rallying History Club will be joining us for the very first time!
This is your chance to witness a spectacular display of some of the finest rally cars in the UK, representing decades of motorsport history. From iconic classics to legendary Group B monsters, this display will be a treat for rally enthusiasts and motorsport fans alike.
What is Rallying?
Rallying is one of the most exciting and demanding forms of motorsport. Unlike traditional racing on closed circuits, rally cars take on challenging real-world terrain, from twisting forest tracks and mountain roads to tarmac stages and everything in between. It’s a true test of driver skill, car performance, and teamwork.
What makes rally cars so special is their incredible versatility and engineering. These machines are built to handle high speeds over loose gravel, tarmac, mud, and jumps often all in the same event. Combine that with aggressive styling, iconic liveries, and the unmistakable sound of roaring engines and popping anti-lag systems, and you’ve got something that captivates motorsport fans the world over.
Why Historic Rally Cars are Icons
The UK has a rich and proud rallying heritage. From the legendary Ford Escort RS that dominated forest rallies, to the mighty Audi Quattro, which revolutionised the sport with its four-wheel drive system — these cars helped shape rallying into what it is today. Not only can you get up close to these legendary machines in the display area, but you’ll also get to see and hear them in action, as they take to the Oulton Park rally stage for special live demonstration runs throughout the day.
