Here at Tunerfest we do things differently to other shows – and our Show and Shine competition is no exception. We run a fairer and more transparent method of assessing and choosing the prize winners, with every car judged purely on what the members see with no favoritism, hidden agenda or bias towards a particular brand.
The Show and Shine competition will take place in an exclusive location, seperate from the main car club displays. Times will be allocated for judging and the prize presentation cermony.
How the judging works…
A panel of judges will assess each car by following a pre-determined criteria. Having done so, they will collectively decide on the winners in each category and the overall car of the show.
This year sees us mix things up with two new categories: Concierge, for high-quality examples and regular award-winners and Show, for cars that are new to the show and shine scene and may not have the lavishness of the concierge contenders bestowed upon them.
Trophies will be awarded as follows:
- Car of the Show
- Concierge Class – Winner
- Concierge Class – 2nd
- Concierge Class – 3rd
- Show Class – Winner
- Show Class – 2nd
- Show Class – 3rd
Trophies for will be presented at an awards ceremony during the afternoon of the show, together with prizes kindly provided by SONAX that contain a selection of their market-leading car care products.
Photos of the winners will be uploaded onto our social media channels.
Entry into the competition is free and each entrant will be forwarded a car display pass in advance to enable access into the show and parking in the exclusive competition area.
Entering is easy, just click the Red button, complete the form online, hit ‘submit’ and you’ll be logged-in for the competition. Then, about a week before the event, you’ll receive detailed instructions, a Show & Shine car pass and a timetable for the day.
Due to the quality of entries we receive for our competitions, all entries will be accepted. Therefore, there’s no need to wait for confirmation. If you register, then you’re in!
PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE VENUE WITH YOUR CAR PASS ALONE.
An entry ticket is required for all vehicle occupants (including the owner/driver). Tickets are available at discounted prices online until 4.00pm on Thursday 19th July. Please click the red GET TICKETS button in the menu above. They can also be purchased at the gate on the day.
